SURA VILLAGE modular settlement by XMODULE — a modular housing project for internally displaced persons. The residential module of 18.18 sq. m is designed for 2–3 occupants and includes a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway and its own terrace. The layout and floor area of the house can be adapted to suit the intended use.

SURA VILLAGE modular buildings are manufactured using demountable technology at a fully equipped production facility. After manufacture, they are transported to the destination site, assembled and connected to utility networks.

The residential module has a functional layout for everyday living. The interior includes a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and hallway, with a 6 sq. m terrace providing additional outdoor living space. The engineering fit-out includes an electrical network, lighting and all other systems required for full residential use.

The layout shown illustrates one possible configuration and functional zoning of the modular house. Furniture and equipment placement is indicative and may be modified in accordance with client requirements.

One of the advantages of SURA VILLAGE is the ability to vary the configuration of the housing complex. Individual modules can be grouped to form larger residential clusters, and the technology allows the project to be scaled depending on the number of residents and the available site area. The structure is designed for energy efficiency and year-round use.

XMODULE is responsible for the manufacture, delivery and final installation of the modular houses. Where required, each house can be fully supplied with furniture and domestic appliances. The estimated design service life of the structure is up to 30 years.
