Engineering systems of modular buildings

Equipping XMODULE modular buildings with engineering systems makes it possible to reduce the amount of work required on site and prepare the facility for operation faster. Electrical networks, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply and wastewater disposal are usually integrated into the structure during manufacturing.
The engineering systems of a modular building are determined at the design stage, taking into account the purpose of the facility (office building, medical or specialized module), room layout, number of users, technological equipment, available external utilities and autonomy requirements.
How is heating organized in a modular building?
The module configuration includes the installation of modern electric heating: convectors, underfloor heating. At the customer's individual request, heat pumps or other heating systems can be integrated.
How are ventilation and air conditioning organized?
In areas with increased humidity and odor concentration (sanitary areas), exhaust systems are installed. It is also possible to install full-fledged split air-conditioning systems or complex forced ventilation systems with heat recovery.
How are electrical networks installed in a modular building?
All electrical networks are integrated into the module structure during factory manufacturing. Electrical wiring is installed using a concealed method in non-combustible corrugated conduits or using an open method in cable ducts. The modules are also equipped with an electrical distribution board with circuit breakers, sockets and switches.
How are water and sewerage connected to a modular building?
Modular buildings can be delivered to the site with internal water supply and wastewater disposal systems already installed. Connection points are brought outside for subsequent connection to external engineering networks. Water supply can be provided from a centralized network or an autonomous source, while wastewater disposal can be connected to a centralized sewerage system or a local system.
Is it possible to install autonomous engineering systems in a modular building?
If there is no access to centralized utilities on the site or the project provides for autonomous operation of the facility, XMODULE can integrate the relevant engineering systems. Depending on the technical specification, these may include solar panels, battery systems and inverters, water storage tanks with pumping equipment, local wastewater disposal systems and other equipment. The composition and parameters of autonomous systems are determined according to the purpose of the building and the calculated resource consumption.
