Modular medical buildings: from stabilization points to mobile hospitals

The conditions of a full-scale war require unprecedented flexibility from the medical infrastructure. It must be quickly deployed and, if possible, be energy-independent. Every day, in extremely difficult conditions, medical workers in rear hospitals save the lives of our defenders. Civilian medical workers who have to work with a large number of patients after enemy shelling face no less stress. In both cases, the life and health of the victims depend on the availability of premises and equipment for providing first aid. XMODULE offers reliable modular medical buildings for military and civilian facilities.

Using modular technologies in military infrastructure

For the effective operation of a stabilization point or military hospital, the possibility of rapid transportation, deployment and prompt movement to another location must be provided.

Mobile stabilization points are compact modules that are placed in close proximity to the line of contact. They are designed taking into account the need for quick connection of autonomous power supply, have a reinforced structure and are designed for an intensive flow of patients to provide emergency care before further evacuation to the hospital.

Mobile hospitals (hospitals) are full-fledged medical complexes consisting of several blocks. The building can be designed depending on its specific purpose. For example, a modular hospital with an area of 240 m² is designed in such a way that the building can simultaneously accommodate patients and have examination rooms, as well as a sanitary area.

Modular projects for civil medical infrastructure

In the civil sector, modular construction solves the problem of a shortage of medical facilities, and also allows you to quickly replace outdated or destroyed buildings. The construction of modular outpatient clinics for remote territorial communities is the easiest way to provide residents with high-quality primary care and modern diagnostic conditions.

The modular small-sized hospital presented in our catalog, consisting of eight modules, is designed for rapid deployment in any region. The complex includes examination and dressing rooms, a changing room and separate bathrooms for patients and staff. The purpose of the modular building is to provide emergency primary care. The layout allows patients to be admitted simultaneously in four rooms.

What is special about XMODULE medical modules?

The buildings have a number of technical features that ensure high efficiency, namely:

  • The use of sandwich panels with PIR insulation, which provides a comfortable microclimate inside the modules at any temperature outside;
  • The modular design allows you to create entire complexes with different zoning - wards, bathrooms, warehouses for medical products, etc.;
  • Integrated engineering networks allow you to connect various equipment - X-ray machines, ventilators. This also includes ventilation and air conditioning systems;
  • Possibility of equipping with backup power sources (generators, battery systems) to ensure energy independence of medical modules.

The Xmodule company continues to develop work on projects in the medical industry. Thus, at the initiative of the International Committee of the Red Cross, a Modular Complex for Reprocessing Medical Instruments was implemented. This is a unique project in Ukraine and in the experience of the Xmodule company. Today, the premises are successfully used by medical workers and help provide sterilization kits to operating rooms. In six months, the Xmodule team has provided the front-line territories with the necessary infrastructure: offices, sanitary and household modules, warehouses, medical stations.
