Modular houses for IDPs: an effective solution for communities

The war has radically changed the lives of millions of Ukrainians. Hundreds of thousands of families were forced to leave their hometowns and seek shelter in safer regions of the country. Today, the problem of providing housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs) is more acute than ever. The XMODULE company offers an effective, modern and economically sound solution — quickly assembled modular homes for IDPs.
Comfortable housing from XMODULE in a short time
Sometimes you can come across the idea that modular housing is something temporary, not very cozy, something like a trailer for workers. XMODULE refutes this false stereotype. The company creates comfortable and ergonomic homes that meet all construction and sanitary standards. Moreover, it does it as quickly as possible.
Here are three key advantages of modular housing for IDPs:
- High energy efficiency. The walls of the buildings are made of sandwich panels with PIR insulation. Foamed polymer insulation provides good thermal insulation, creating a comfortable microclimate in the building at any time of the year.
- Own production and individual approach. All projects are developed individually, taking into account the customer's wishes regarding the area, functionality of use and other characteristics of the future object. Modular structures are manufactured at Xmodule's own factory with strict quality control of the manufacture of structural elements, walls, and laying of engineering networks.
- Quick installation. XMODULE modular housing is located on a site where all the necessary engineering communications have already been laid - electricity, water supply, sewage, etc. Inside, the modules are also equipped with communications at the production stage. All that remains is to connect everything.
- Safe and certified materials. Certified materials that meet the established requirements and are suitable for use in residential buildings are used in production.
It is worth noting that the XMODULE company began implementing such projects even before the full-scale invasion. Thus, in 2021, a modular town was built for temporary residence of displaced persons. The complex was assembled from 102 modules, and its total area was 2,000 m². Such a town is designed to accommodate 150 people. The project took only 4 months to implement.
Investing in the reconstruction of Ukraine
Providing quality housing for internally displaced persons is not just a humanitarian mission. It is an important step towards the social and economic recovery of communities. And our team takes on this responsibility. XMODULE production processes are constantly being improved, new engineering solutions are being implemented, and logistics are being optimized. Our goal is to provide affordable housing to everyone who needs it. Xmodule develops and manufactures modular houses and residential complexes for temporary and long-term residence.
